Abstract
At the beginning of the year after the flood incident that occurred in DKI Jakarta, the mass media gave a special portion to reporting on mass demands against Anies Baswedan and the Jakarta flood as headline Anies Baswedan who became the focus of public demand for the impact of the flood even. The mass media always framing events bassed on the perspectives and interests of the media concerned.This research will discuss the framing of news regarding mass demands against Anies Baswedan due to the impact of floods that occured in Jakarta on the online media Kompas and Republika. The purpose of this study is to determine the framing of news regarding claims of lawsuits against Anies Baswedan for the period 1 January to 31 March 2020 in Kompas and Republika online The method used by researchers is the framing analysis of Pan Zhondang and Kosicki models.The results of this study show that the news pesented by the online media Kompas and Republika has differences in the selection of photos, headlines, the use of 5W+1H the use of words, and the ethics of the words used by the two media in reporting on the claims against Anies Baswedan related to the Jakarta floods in 2020.
