Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of growing public interest in opening micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) so that BMT Amanah Riau in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu participates in supporting community development by helping overcome common problems often faced by MSMEs, namely capital. The problem formulation in this research is the role of BMT Amanah Riau in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu. The aim of this research is to determine the role of BMT Amanah Riau in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu. The subject in this research was BMT Amanah Riau. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the role of BMT Amanah Riau in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu. The type of research used is field research. The approach used is qualitative and the analysis technique used is descriptive where the researcher provides a description of symptoms, events and current events that focus attention on the problem at the time of the research. There were 4 informants in this study. The research sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the role of BMT Amanah Riau in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu has played a very important role for MSMEs. In accordance with the results of interviews with MSME players as customers at BMT Amanah Riau, they said that their business had increased due to the empowerment provided by BMT Amanah Riau and increased capital.
