Abstract

This research was conducted in Akar Belingkar Village, Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency, which aims to find out whether the implementation of village financial accounting in Akar Belingkar village is in accordance with IAI-KSAP regarding Guidelines for Village Financial Accounting Assistance. This research is a qualitative research, and the techniques used in data collection are interviews and documentation, to analyze the data obtained by the author using a descriptive method, namely making a comparison between the data that has been collected with related theories and presented in the form of research results. The results of this study indicate that the application of village accounting at the Akar Belingkar Government is not fully in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, however, the results of this study also illustrate that the application of accounting in Akar Belingkar Village still needs improvement to improve the welfare of the people in Akar Belingkar Village.
