Abstract

The R well A field is one of the largest oil wells in the Rokan Block which is managed by PT. Siak Pusako Earth. This field has significant potential for oil reserves and is still possible for production. In 2019, the average net production was 40,000 BOPD of crude oil. To ensure the remaining oil reserves in this field, re-evaluation of the reserve calculation is important to assess future prospects. Field R has a reservoir layer that includes well A, which will be assessed using volumetric and Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) methods for reserves calculation. In the context, of this study evaluated with the volumetric method will focus on OOIP calculations. Meanwhile, the DCA method is used to calculate the residual reserves (RR) and Recovery Factor (RF). Volumetric analysis is based on Triple Combo log data ((Gamma Ray Log), (Resitivity Log), and (Porosity and Neutron Log)), which helps identify reservoir zones and measure oil porosity and saturation. DCA calculations rely on historical production data from well A in the reservoir layer Area R, using Oil Field Manager (OFM) software. The results of the evaluation using the volumetric method showed that the OOIP value in the perforation zone of well A (zone 2) was 6,021,136.29. Meanwhile, an evaluation using the DCA method resulted in a remaining reserve of 2,377,040 STB with a Recovery Factor (RF) in zone 2 reaching 4.49%.
