Abstract

The Wahdah method is a technique for memorizing the Koran which involves repeating it ten times in front of the teacher until it is completely memorized. Therefore, this wahdah method helps students memorize the Al-Qur'an and practice it well. At the MA level, the Wahdah method was chosen for memorize the Qur'an because it is the most effective method to achieve the goal of memorization prescribed Qur'an. In this research, Action Research was carried out Classes (PTK) that in-depth describe the application of techniques learning and achieving expected results. The results of the data obtained in the first cycle shows that the level of involvement has not met the limit The standard that has been set is 75%. Al-Qur'an memorization rate is only 20% completed students. This phenomenon occurs because the wahdah method is applied has not reached the expected level of effectiveness. But in implementation second cycle, there was a significant increase in the percentage of memorization after improvements are made based on the previous cycle. This sign of progress can be found in the observation sheet which shows the level of student memorization satisfactory, with a percentage of 75%. Through observational analysis carried out, it can be concluded that there has been a significant increase in students' level of memorization of the Al-Qur'an in teaching and learning activities. In situation Initially, students' memorization level was only 20%, then increased to 75% in the first cycle, and achieved a significant increase of 100% in the second cycle, exceeded the standard targets set by researchers. Before steps are taken to strengthen students' memorization in tahfidz lessons, and can be considered a ''Very High'' level of memorizing the Qur'an.
