Abstract
Field "FM" is an area located in the Central Sumatra Basin. One of the wells, namely well X, only has some lab data on the physical properties of fluids such as relative volume, viscosity, FVF, Pb, etc. The data comes from data from 1992. The incomplete data on the physical properties of the fluid of Well X from the FM Field has caused the identification of hydrocarbon fluids in this field to be incomplete and it is necessary to carry out reservoir simulations. PVTP is used to identify this, carried out by two methods of the Equation of State (EOS) Model and the Black Oil Model. The results show that the EOS method is better with AAE% for Psat 0%, Relative volume 0.81%, GOR 3.7%, FVF 1.4%, Density 0.1%. Whereas Black Oil for AAE% results for Psat 0.001%, GOR 40.6%, FVF 7.7%, Density 3.2%, Viscosity 3.2%. The average AAE% value on EOS is only 1.2%, while Black oil is 10.94%.
