Abstract

Clean water is one of the basic human needs that is needed on an ongoing basis which must be met at all times, with increasing population growth in Pasir Penyu district, the need for clean water will also increase, PDAM are required to be able to meet this need for clean water, taking into acount quality, quantity and continuity. This research aims to determine the need and availability of clean water needed by the people of Pasir Penyu District until 2033, and determine the Reservoir. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. To determine the number of residents and customers using a comparison of correlation values and standard deviation, by carrying out calculations using geometric, arithmetic, and linear regression methods. The results of this research are that the total clean water requirement for PDAM Tirta Indra in the service area of Pasir Penyu District in 2033 is 11 liters/second, with the production capacity of PDAM Tirta Indra, Pasir Penyu District being 30 liter/second, and the distribution capacity of 10 liters/second, by comparing demand with existing water availability, it can be seen that the curren availability of water sources is still sufficient for predictions for the next 10 years (30 liter/second > 11 liters/second), but starting in 2026 the distribution pump discharge will no longer be able to meet needs. Maximum water shortage, there will be a shortage of 1 liter/second in 2033 (10 liters/second < 11 liters/second), while the reservoir requirement for the Pasir Penyu service area will be 228,096 in 2033, the current reservoir capacity is 200 , from 2024 the reservoir will no longer be able to accommodate maximum water availability, there will be a shortage of 28,096 in 2033. For this reason, it is necessary to increase and plan reservoir capacity to meet clean water needs.
