Abstract
TRAFFIC FLOW PERFORMANE ANALYSIS ONE DIRECTION IN THE CENTER AREA IN THE CITY OF SELAT PANJANG CHANDRA MAULANA 193110409 ABSTRACT The traffic conditions in the city of Selat Panjang are disorganized and still not neat, even from an aesthetic perspective it does not show that the city of Selat Panjang is an urban area. One-way traffic engineering is also intended to reduce congestion and accidents and to create traffic safety for motorists. The aim of this research is to identify road performance analysis and the performance of unsignalized intersections with one-way traffic flow in the city center area. This research method is a survey and analysis method using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of this research show the performance of roads and the performance of unsignalized intersections in the city center area in Selat Panjang City, on Mondays (weekdays), Fridays (special days), and Sundays (weekends), the highest degree of saturation (DS) occurred on Sundays at Jalan Imam Bonjol and Simpang Imam Bonjol at 0,67 for the Imam Bonjol intersection, the degree of saturation (DS) was 0.77. This shows that the performance of the road section is still in a stable flow zone, namely 0,67% of the road capacity and the performance of unsignalized intersections exceeds the value set by MKJI 1997 with DS<0.75.
