Abstract

Tapung - Tandun road is a provincial road that connects Tapung sub-district with Tandun, Tapung - Tandun road is a class III collector road which has a length of 45.5 km with a road width of 7 meters. With the increasing transportation such as on the Tapung - Tandun road section at this time, where the increase in the number of vehicles is not followed by adequate facilities such as the condition of the road surface which has a lot of damage. The purpose of this study is to determine what types of damage are found on the surface layer of flexible pavement on the Tapung - Tandun road section, analyzing the value of road damage using the Bina Marga method and also to determine the average daily traffic count on the Tapung - Tandun road section. The research method used to analyze road damage on the Tapung - Tandun road section is the Bina Marga method. From the survey results of road damage found on the Tapung - Tandun road section of Kampar Regency, namely damage to cracks, holes, grain release and grooves. The results of the road damage analysis based on the Bina Marga method, crack damage STA 0+000 - STA 5+000 with a percentage of 3.748%. Damage to the hole STA 0+000 - STA 5+000 with a percentage of 4.573%. Grain release damage STA 0+000 - STA 5+000 with a percentage of 5.848%. Groove damage STA 0+000 - 5+000 with a percentage of 2.537%. The analysis result of the Bina Marga method used to determine the road maintenance program is 3, where this result shows that the Tapung - Tandun road section is included in the category of road improvement programs. The results of the survey and analysis of average daily traffic (LHR) data obtained a total vehicle value of 5114 vehicles / day. The results of the average daily traffic survey (LHR) of the most vehicles passing through the Tapung - Tandun road section are Sedan, Jeep and Station wagon vehicles with a total of 2029 vehicles / day and the least vehicle passing through the Tapung - Tandun road section is 4 Axis Truck 1.2-2.2 or Trailer with a total of 27 vehicles / day.
