Abstract

The Tapung – Tandun road section is a provincial road section that connects Simpang Petapahan with Simpang TB (Tandun). This road has 2 lanes - 2 directions with a width of 7 meters and a road length of ±46,000 meters. The effective location of the research is Sta. 22+500 – Sta. 23+550. The existing condition of this road is that it still uses asphalt, but if you look directly, many large holes, cracks, surface wear and the road is already wavy. The aim of this research is to plan the thickness of rigid pavement with strength and durability with a design life of 40 years on the Tapung-Tandun road section (Sta. 22 + 500 – Sta. 23 + 550). This research method uses the Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003 method to determine the thickness of the concrete pavement used. By calculating the vehicle's LHR, load repetitions that occur, stress ratio factor, erosion factor to determine the percentage of fatigue damage and erosion damage. The results of the average daily traffic survey (LHR) showed that the average number of vehicles was 5013/day with JSKN in the 40 year plan life, which was 89820212.88. The results of the analysis of the thickness of the rigid pavement showed that the thickness of the concrete slab was 22 cm with a quality of K450, the K125 thin concrete mix layer was 13 cm thick. The plan uses a continuous type of cement concrete pavement without reinforcement. Then the longitudinal connection distance is 3.5 m, equipped with tie bars (Tie Bars) with threaded steel diameter of 16 mm, the distance between the rods is 75 cm, the length of the rod is 70 cm, and the transverse connection distance is 5 m, equipped with plain rod dowels 45 cm long. , the distance between the spokes (Dowels) is 30 cm using a plain rod with a diameter of 33 mm. Obtained repeated permits for erosion of 22 cm thickness that occurred for this type of vehicle in percent damaged STRG 56.44 and 0.64, STdRG 1.92. The repetition of fatigue permits that occurs for other types of vehicles is infinite. So it can be concluded as 0% fatigue damage and 59% erosion damage.
