Abstract

One method of carrying out road repairs is by adding an additional layer (overlay). Jl. Harapan Village Kel. Toilet Water District. Mandau (Duri) is 1540 m long with (STA 0+000-1+540). The method used in this research to collect data is the direct field observation method such as conditions in the field and at the AMP. The data collection technique uses direct field observation because this research is guided by the 2018 General Specifications for Highways No.02/SE/Db/2018 - 2 (Two). Results and discussion: In the process of mixing Ac-Bc and Ac-Wc materials produced by AMP, this mixing is carried out in the form of a unit, and the mixing unit is called AMP. In carrying out the spreading of Ac-Bc and Ac-Wc, the observed temperature ranges from 1450C - 1550C, with the tools used for spreading namely Asphalt Finisher, additional overlay layer work for compaction using a Tandem tool Rollers for laston work Ac–Bc initial compaction temperature ranges from 1150C – 1300C loose 7.2 cm and Ac–Wc final compaction temperature 1100C – 1200C, loose 5.0 cm with passing carried out in the field in 2 passes, 2 passes. To carry out final compaction work using a Pneumetic Tired Roller tool for Ac–Bc finalion work, the initial compaction temperature ranges from 1150C – 1200C and the Ac–Wc laston with final compaction temperature ranges from 1100C – 1200C, Variation 4 Passes 2 Passing, for carrying out laston and laston Ac–Wc compaction carried out in the field lastion Ac–Bc 18 Passing and laston Ac–Wc 16 Passing. From the results of compaction, the thickness of Ac–Bc is 6 cm and the laston plan thickness of Ac–Wc is 4 cm with a plan width of 5 m per lane. The results obtained were that the density of the core drill laston Ac-Bc and Ac-Wc with an average thickness of 98.8% was in accordance with the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications Revision 2 (two), namely 98%. So it can be concluded that the process of mixing Ac -Bc and Ac –Wc materials with an Ac-Bc temperature of 155?C, and an Ac-Wc temperature of 1550C. for carrying out the spreading temperature in the field for Ac – Bc and Ac-Wc is 1450C - 1550C, for carrying out initial compaction with temperature 1150C – 1300C and for final compaction with a temperature of 1100C – 1200C, for core drill compaction the average is 98.8%. Suggestions for carrying out overlay work, the temperature remains controlled during the asphalt production process and the spreading and compaction process as required.
