Abstract
Clay soil is a type of soil that has low bearing capacity characteristics and clay soil is also very easily contaminated by water, and there will also be a decrease in the quality of soil that is contaminated by high water. Ilnil clay soil rust causes the construction to be less than good. Kalil Ilnil construction was taken as a sample from the Artificial Lake area of Pelkanbaru City due to the large number of damaged road access points. Lime is a material made from carbonate rock so that it can change the texture of the soil to make it solid, while zeolite is a multi-purpose non-metallic material that has the ability to bind aggregate grains and create a solid soil mass. Therefore, the scientific research aims to determine the effect of a mixture of lime and zelolit on the value of the bearing capacity of clay soil.. The methods used in this test are physical properties, Proctor Standard and CBR with variations in the mixture used, namely 6% lime and 6%, 8% and 10% zeolite. With varying curing times of 4 and 7 days and soaking for 4 days. Based on the results of the classi-fil-clay chemical tests, the original soil jelnils according to USCS are inorganic clay jelnils with clay plastics (CH), whereas according to AASHTO the soil is included in class A6 (clay soil). Based on the results of the CBR test on a mixture of lime and zelolilt, the optimum CBR value was obtained at a content of 6% lime + 10% zelolilt with a pelling time of 4 days after 20.32% and 7 days after 33.33%. The resulting CBR value of the original land was found to be 7.39% pellram and 3.89% pellram. It can be concluded that the use of a mixture of lime and zelolith is good enough to be used as a stabilizer for clay soil products and used as a highway subgrade.
