Abstract
Concrete is one of the main materials that is often used and relied on in making construction, because concrete has certain properties and characteristics that vary according to changes in the mixture of its constituent materials, such as water, Portland cement, coarse and fine aggregates and additional materials if necessary. In construction work that uses concrete as a construction material, several problems will be encountered, such as the appearance of fibrous cracks in the concrete. If left for a long time, this will cause damage to the concrete itself. To handle this problem, a special method or action needs to be taken so that the impact of fiber cracks does not get bigger. The self-healing concrete method is one solution to overcome the problem of cracks that appear in concrete. This research uses a concrete mix calculation method (mix design) based on SNI 7656:2012. This research used 15 cylindrical samples. This method is carried out by adding Urease Positive Bacteria with a bacteria percentage of 10% of the water volume. Knowing the effect of using Urease Positive Bacteria on the compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of concrete, to find out the effect of Urease Positive Bacteria on compressive strength and splitting tensile strength for self-ability. Healing concrete seen in SEM testing. From the research results, the effect of using Urease Positive Bacteria on the tensile strength of concrete using the Self Healing Concrete method for the tensile strength of concrete aged 28 days with normal concrete is 0.25 Mpa, for the tensile strength of concrete + Urease bacteria. Positive Bacteria increased with an average of 0.28 Mpa. The effect of using Urease Positive Bacteria on the compressive strength of concrete using the Self Healing Concrete method for the compressive strength of concrete aged 28 days with normal concrete with an average of 20.78 Mpa. For compressive strength of concrete + Urease Positive Bacteria bacteria decreased with an average of The average was 18.66 MPa, and the compressive strength of concrete + Urease Bacteria after cracking increased with an average of 23.08 MPa. For slump testing, it has met the regulatory standards such as normal concrete with an average of 8.13 cm and for concrete + Urease Positive Bacteria with an average of 7.97cm
