Abstract
Flooding is one of the problems that exist in the North Tangkerang Village. Factors that cause floods are rainfall, drainage systems, population growth, and in creasing land use cause open land to turn into closed I there are 5 (five) points of flooding or inundation in the Kelurahan North Tangkerang, with a long flood or inundation of about 4 to 12 hours. The purpose of this research is men know distribution of flood points, flood vulnerability level and determine the control strategy flood in North Tangerang Village settlement . The method used in determining the distribution of floods is descriptive qualitative, for a analysis of flood vulnerability data using a quantitative descriptive method with a spatial approach (using overlay on arcgis software) . Variables being analyzed is rainfall,tyoe of soil , to slope slope And land use to determine the level of vulnerability. while for formulate a control strategy flood used logical framework analysis (LFA) method. The results showed that the distribution of flooding in the settlements of the North Tangkerang Village was found in the Residential Units 01, Residents Units 02, Residents Units 07, Residents Units 13, and Residents Units 15. For the area stated ra flood water analyzed using ArcGIS 10 software. 4 show flood area with level high susceptibility has an area 73,7 Ha, d the flood hazard area has a moderate area 38,8 Ha , d the flood area level low susceptibility has an area 3.34 Ha The results of the flood control strategy will be categorized into three (3) strategies, namely the first control priority is in the high classification, namely cleaning and normalizing drainage canals and rivers, reforesting the city and making infiltration wells. the second control is in the classification being carried out, namely the normalization of drainage channels and also rivers, controlling areas on riverbanks or drainage, enforcing the law against violators. , and spatial planning, building adequate drainage canals, cleaning up drainages, enforcing laws against violations and increasing inter-agency cooperation.strategy, Control, Flood, Vulnerability, ArcGIS , Overlays .
