Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between Arabic vocabulary mastery and students’ reading text ability among seventh-grade students of Class E at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research employed a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students of Class E at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, while the object was the relationship between the mastery of Arabic vocabulary and the reading ability of Arabic texts among seventh-grade students of Class E at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research instrument used in this study was documentation as a data collection technique. The problem posed in this research was to determine whether there was a relationship between the mastery of Arabic vocabulary and the ability to read Arabic texts among seventh-grade students of Class E at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The results of the research indicated a perfect correlation between the mastery of Arabic vocabulary and the reading ability of Arabic texts among seventh-grade students of Class E at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.
