Abstract
The book of Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka is a main book in teaching Arabic at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru, but there has been no study examining how to implement Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru. Therefore, the researcher is interested in conducting a study entitled "The Implementation of Al-'Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayka at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru". This is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the study is the Arabic language teachers at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi al-Islami Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, the object of the study is the implementation of Al-'arobiyyah Bayna Yadaika learning at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru. The data collection techniques of the study are observation, interviews and documentation. The problem formulation of the study is how to implement Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning and what obstacles faced in implementing Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru. The aim of the study is to investigate the implementation and obstacles of Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru. The results of the study show that the implementation of Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning at the Islamic Boarding School of Durrotul Ilmi Al-Islami Pekanbaru has gone well and effectively. Meanwhile, the obstacles in implementing Al-'Arobiyyah Bayna Yadayka learning are: 1. The students’ backgrounds are different. 2. There are no sound speaker and LCD in classrooms so that it makes the teachers difficult to teach istima' skills. 3. During study hours in the afternoon, the students are usually tired, bored and fed up, so the learning process becomes less optimal.
