Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF FRUIT-THEMED SNAKES AND LADDERS GAME ON CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS DEVELOPMENT AT SAKINAH ISLAMIC KINDERGARTEN PANDAU JAYA KAMPAR Nurhafsah 192510073 Early Childhood Education (PAUD) was fundamentally organized to facilitate the holistic growth and development of children, focusing on all aspects of their personality development. This study aimed to determine the effect of Snakes and Ladders game on children aged 5-6 years development at Sakinah Islamic Kindergarten, Pandau Jaya. The research tested whether the Snakes and Ladders game influenced the development of children aged 5-6 years at the kindergarten. A quantitative method was employed, specifically a single-subject experimental method for small groups. The study used an A-B-A design and involved 20 participants, with 5 students as the subjects. Data analysis utilized a time-series technique. The findings revealed that the Snakes and Ladders game positively influenced the development of children aged 5-6 years at Sakinah Islamic Kindergarten, Pandau Jaya. Pretest results showed scores of 34, 33, 36, 33, 36, and 36, while posttest results indicated increased scores of 51, 54, 54, 55, 55, and 56, demonstrating an improvement in the development of the children.
