Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT METHODSTOCULTIVATE STUDENTS' ETIQUETTE AT KUTTAB AL-FATIHPEKANBARU TRI WULANSARI 202410103 This study was motivated by issues in students' etiquette, markedbyseveral problems, including a lack of discipline during the learning process, failure to follow teachers' instructions, and disrespectful behavior towardsteachers. These behaviors contradicted the expected etiquette of students. Etiquette refers to the manners and politeness that every student should possess, especially toward teachers during the teaching and learning process. Astudent isconsidered successful when they demonstrate proper etiquette, which leads toboth success and blessings. Therefore, it was essential to implement character- building methods by teachers to instill good etiquette and help students developinto better individuals. This research was crucial as it aimed to identify andexplain the application of character-building methods in shaping the etiquetteat female qonuni class 2 at Kuttab Al-Fatih Pekanbaru. The research problemfocused on how the character-building methods were implemented to improvestudents' etiquette. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approachwasused. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. The descriptiveanalysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Theresults revealed that the implementation of character-building methods toimprove students' etiquette was ef ective. Two categories of methods wereidentified: the role model method and the storytelling method.
