Abstract
This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students at Islamic Elementary School Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru. Students should have strong motivation in learning as it serves as the primary factor in learning, functioning to initiate, support, and drive learning activities. The research problem was how Islamic Education teachers made efforts to enhance the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at Islamic Elementary School Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru. The purpose was to identify the efforts made in Akidah Akhlak to improve the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at the school. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research informants consisted of two Akidah Akhlak teachers who taught fifth-grade students at Islamic Elementary School Al-Ikhwan. Data collection techniques included interviews and documentation. The findings revealed four efforts made by Akidah Akhlak teachers to increase learning motivation among fifth-grade students at Islamic Elementary School Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru: teachers strived to motivate students, provided appreciation, facilitated discussion spaces, and offered support
