Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that there were some students who have a low level of creativity. However, creativity in learning is an important factor that a student must have. To overcome this, in line with technological developments, using artificial intelligence is assumed to be able to increase student creativity in learning. This study aimed to investigate the influence of artificial intelligence on students’ creativity in learning Islamic Studies at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib, Siak Regency. The type of this study was correlational research with a quantitative approach. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib of Siak Regency. The population of the study was all students in grade X at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib with a total of 150 students. To determine the sample size, the slovin formula was used and it was obtained a sample of 109 students. The data analysis technique of the study was simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that based on the hypothesis test, it was known that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted or there was an influence of Artificial Intelligence on Students’ Creativity in learning Islamic Studies at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib with a sig.(0.000) <0.05. The value of correlation coefficient was 0.632, meaning that there was a correlation in a medium category between the Artificial Intelligence and the student learning creativity, and the coefficient of determination value of 0.383 meaning that the Artificial Intelligence variable had an influence by 38.3% on student learning creativity, while the remaining was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
