Abstract

DIRECTIONS FOR ARRANGEMENT OF STREET TRADERS ON ROAD KM 4, TUALANG DISTRICT, SIAK By : Wira Dharma 163410360 Urban and Regional Planning Study Program Faculty of Engineering Riau Islamic University ABSTRACT The absence of clear street vendor policy regulations has led to the mushrooming of street vendors in the Pasar Tuah Serumpun area, Tualang District, the presence of street vendors selling on the road is currently disrupting access for people who pass the Km 4 road, to be precise at Pasar Tuah Serumpun. In this regard, the purpose of this research is:formulate structuring directives to regulate the existence of street vendors on Jalan Raya KM 4, Tualang District, Siak Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a deductive research approach.Seand to analyze the characteristics of street vendors using descriptive statistical analysis and to analyze the factors for choosing the location of street vendors using a scoring/weighting analysis technique with a Likert scale. Based on the results of field observations and analysis, the research results obtained in the form of grouping directives based on coaching aspects, environmental aspects, land status aspects, and policy aspects. Based on the directives, by combining existing regulations, locations where traders are allowed to carry out activities will be obtained
