Abstract
This study aimed to determine the extent to which the routine of reading the Qur'an influenced the spiritual intelligence of students at SMP 34 Pekanbaru and the challenges faced. Based on the data of Qur'an reading routines at SMP 34 Pekanbaru from 2023 to 2024, all students performed the routine well and regularly every day as scheduled, so that each student's spirituality could be directed more positively. This study used Makbuloh theory and Ary Ginanjar Agustian's theory, based on the indicators from each theory explaining Qur'an reading and spiritual intelligence. The results of this study showed how the routine of reading the Qur'an affected the spiritual intelligence of students at Junior High School 34 Pekanbaru, as seen through the questionnaires that were distributed. This activity also had a significant impact on each student’s daily environment, encouraging more positive behaviors.
