Abstract
This study aims to investigate the development and feasibility of the traditional game “Tam-tam buku” to improve the gross motor skills of young children aged 5-6 years. The method of the study is Research and Development (RnD), which produces a product and tests the effectiveness of the product. The data analysis technique of the study is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The data analysis for product feasibility is an assessment of the results obtained from product design experts and material experts in the form of a questionnaire instrument, the resulting product development is in the form of a traditional game “Tam-tam buku” made from trobos material and picture stickers measuring 30x30 cm as learning media to improve the gross motor skills of young children aged 5-6 years. The validation result of the product design is in the "very feasible" category. Likewise, the validation result of the material is in the "very feasible" category. Both validation category results show "very feasible", therefore the development of the traditional game “Tam-tam buku” is very suitable to improve the gross motor skills of young children aged 5-6 years.
