Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of discipline among students regarding school regulations. Additionally, there was a lack of student discipline in the learning of Aqidah akhlak in the classroom. The research problem formulated in this study was the influence of the teacher's personality on the discipline of eighth-grade students in the learning of Aqidah akhlak at Elementary School Bustanul Ulum in the Tenayan Raya Subdistrict. The aim of this research was to determine the influence of the teacher's personality on the discipline of eighth-grade students in the learning of Aqidah akhlak at Elementary School Bustanul Ulum in the Tenayan Raya Subdistrict. The population consisted of 48 students, and since it was less than 100, all the population was used as a sample. This research comprised the X variable (teacher's personality) and the Y variable (students’ discipline). The method of data correlation analysis used was a simple linear regression test. The results of the simple linear regression analysis obtained a significance value less than 0.05, namely 0.001. Therefore, Ha was accepted, indicating that there was an influence of the teacher's personality on the discipline of eighth-grade students in the learning of Aqidah akhlak at Elementary School Bustanul Ulum in the Tenayan Raya Subdistrict. The magnitude of the influence of the teacher's personality between variables X and Y was 0.214, falling within the range of 0.20-0.399, categorized as low. This means that the influence of the teacher's personality on students’ discipline in the learning of Aqidah akhlak at Elementary School Bustanul Ulum in the Tenayan Raya Subdistrict was
