Abstract
This research was motivated by some students that conducted bullying action. In this case, the victim could not defend himself because of the weaknesses. The attention was not only the perpetrator action but also the impact of the action toward victim. The research formulation in this research questioned how was the effort of Islamic education teacher in preventing action behaviour at elementary school 131 Pekanbaru. The subject in this research was Islamic education teacher. Meanwhile, the object in this research was the effort of Islamic education teacher. This research used descriptive qualitative type. Data collection technique used documentation and interview. Data analysis technique in this research used data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. Research finding showed that the effort of Islamic education teacher in preventing bullying behaviour at elementary school 131 Pekanbaru could be concluded that preventive effort by habituating student to be more discipline, gibing moral understanding, repressive effort by giving spoken warning, giving punishment and giving statement letter. Also, curative effort by calling students to be advised and also calling their parents. The effort from Islamic education teacher could be seen by monitoring students that conduct bullying action especially at elementary school 131 Pekanbaru.
