Abstract
THE ROLE OF ACCOUNTING TEACHERS IN INCREASING STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION AT SMA NEGERI 5 TUALANG The role of the accounting teacher in increasing students' learning motivation is very necessary during learning. The motivation given by the teacher will make him always enthusiastic in achieving learning goals. The formulation of the problem is how the role of the accounting teacher in increasing student learning motivation. The purpose of the study was to find out how the role of the accounting teacher in increasing students' motivation to learn. The theoretical basis is the role of the accounting teacher in increasing student learning motivation. This research is a field research. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique uses a qualitative descriptive method. The result of this study is that the Akutansu teacher has played a role in increasing student learning motivation in the form of having a role in providing encouragement in achieving something, commitment, initiative, optimism, giving internal and external influences on the student's learning motivation. Research advice is for teachers to always change their learning methods or strategies in motivating students in terms of conditions and circumstances when learning.
