Abstract

The issue of the lack of clean water is still a problem in people's lives. Clean water is still an important thing for every living thing in all corners of the world, especially humans. The lack or obstruction of clean water supply is one of the problems. This problem of clean water shortages has had a very bad impact on peatland areas. As an effort to facilitate the collection of clean water, an innovative tool called the Water Harvester has emerged. The working principle of this machine is the condensation system. This tool has many advantages and benefits with very easy maintenance installation. There are several components in this machine, including: fan, thermoelectric, heatsink, power supply and speed control. This research was carried out by preparing measuring instruments in the form of anemometers, tachometers, thermometers. Then tests were carried out with a time span of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes. The best results are obtained for 60 minutes with a fan speed of 2500 rpm which can produce a water volume of 16.3 (ml) and a water production capacity of 97.8 (ml/hour), the speed of air entering the water harvester 4 machine .5 m/s and 65.4 % humidity. The test results are good enough for a prototype scale machine where its function is as a water production tool. To speed up the condensation process, fans and thermoelectrics play an important role in the level of water production. Water dew will form more easily with the help of a fan. Thermoelectric functions to produce dew.
