Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is something related to social responsibility, social welfare and management of the quality of life of the community. Industry and corporations in this case play a role in promoting a healthy economy by considering environmental factors. Through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company does not only prioritize its goal of obtaining the highest profit, but also includes financial, social, and other environmental aspects. Special regulations regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management regulating the obligations of business entities or legal entities in terms of environmental management. The problem in this study is how the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Sawit Asahan Indah in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency and what are the benefits of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation program of PT Sawit Asahan Indah in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This research uses an empirical method, which is based on secondary data (from the library) and supported by primary data based on field research, such as observations and interviews. The results of this study explain that the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Sawit Asahan Indah in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency includes a system of making and implementing a decision in the company in order to achieve the goals to be taken, basic rights that must be owned by all people as human beings, are all policies and the provision of knowledge in the form of practices related to the work carried out in the or on behalf of the Company, the impact of the company's decisions and activities on the environment, the ethical behavior of the organization when dealing with other organizations and individuals, It is the responsibility of the company providing goods/services to consumers and customers of the organization's relationship with the community around the area of operation. In terms of the benefits of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation program of PT Sawit Asahan Indah in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency for the Company, it can improve the good name of the company PT Sawit Asahan Indah, for the community, namely it can help increase the productivity of community-owned oil palm plantations in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency around the company so that it has fruit marketability palm oil. As for environmental sustainability, PT Sawit Asahan Indah is responsible for the environment in Sei Kuning Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency, producing oil palm plantation products without damaging nature and the surrounding environment
