Abstract

In recent times, criminal acts of sexual violence have not only occurred to victims whose age can be considered adults but also to victims who are considered teenagers, and have even occurred to children. The main problem of this research is what are the factors that cause obscene acts against children in Fifty Cities Regency and what are the legal protection efforts by UPTD PPA for child victims of sexual abuse in Fifty Cities Regency? The research method is a type of descriptive analytical research that describes or explains objectively what is related to the problem of children as victims of sexual abuse in fifty city districts. Acts of sexual abuse against minors often occur based on several factors such as being under the influence of alcohol, lack of understanding of religion and sexual abuse occurring not far from the victim's environment, therefore children are very vulnerable to becoming victims of sexual abuse, sexual abuse is one of the criminal acts against decency that growing more and more frequently along with the times, requiring special handling, this is because this action is very disturbing to the public
