Abstract
Islamic work ethics served as the fundamental basis for achieving success in one's profession. Possessing good Islamic work ethics results in excellent performance. The main objective of this research was to determine the influence and contribution of Islamic work ethics on teacher’s performance at the As-Syuhada Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Duri XIII, Bathin Solapan Sub District, Bengkalis Regency. The research method employed was descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 48 teachers, selected using total sampling, with questionnaires as the data collection tool. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The hypothesis testing, through partial tests, indicated that Islamic work ethics significantly affected the performance of teachers at the As-Syuhada Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Duri XIII. This was evident from the t-value (5.213) > t-table (1.678) with a significance value of 0.000. The correlation value between the independent and dependent variables showed a substantial relationship at 0.609 or 60.9%. The data analysis revealed that the contribution of Islamic work ethics to teachers performance was indicated by an R Square value of 37.1%, with the remaining 62.9% influenced by other variables not included in this study.
