Abstract
Heat Recovery Ventilator is an energy saving device with a mechanical ventilation system that can convert stuffy or dirty air in the room into fresh, healthier air. Along with the development of the modern world, the increasing increase in energy and also decreasing air quality in the room are the reasons for the presence of Heat Recovery Ventilator. Various activities at this time are mostly carried out indoors, both regarding work and several other reasons that make a person have to stay more at home resulting in increasing energy use and also decreasing air quality. In this study, an analysis of the performance of the tool, namely the Heat Recovery Ventilator was made and tested beforehand to obtain the value or results for the variation of speed fans that are suitable for the needs of the Heat Recovery Ventilator for later use. This research was carried out by preparing tools in the form of Heat Recovery Ventilators and also test aids such as thermometers, anemometers and hygrometers. The test was carried out in a room in the form of a 3x3 m2 room and the test was carried out in stages from the three fan speed variations with each speed being tested repeatedly with time periods (30, 60, 90 and 120) minutes. Which results in T_in = 28.3 ºC , T_(c,in) = 25.4 ºC, T_(c,out) = 25.4 ºC, T_(h,in) = 27.4 ºC, T_(h,out) = 27.3 ºC, RH = 74% dan Vin = 1.9 m/s. Meanwhile, the results are the value of the air flow rate entering the room Q = 0.2147 m3/s, ACH = 0.477, volume flow rate of air through the HRV Qsal = 3.577 m3/s, dan RE = 14260.69. The test results are sufficient for the Heat recovery Ventilator to be applied to rooms considering its function as a recirculation tool and also air freshener
