Abstract

This study examines the analysis of moral values in the Pantun Adat Marriage of the Malay Community in Ujung Batu District. The problem raised in this study is, How is the analysis of moral values in the customary marriage rhymes of the Malay community in Ujung Batu District. The theory that the writer uses in this research is; theory K. Bertens. (2013) and Greetings. (2000). From this theory the authors formulate the problem in this study, namely: (1) What are the moral values related to responsibility in the traditional wedding rhymes of the people of Ujung Batu sub-district, (2) What are the moral values related to conscience in the customary marriage rhymes of the people of Ujung Batu sub-district, (3) What are the moral values related to obligations in the customary marriage rhymes of the Ujung Batu sub-district community. The method that the author uses in this study is to use a qualitative approach using descriptive methods The results of this study can be concluded from the three aspects of moral values (1) Moral values related to responsibility, (2) Moral values related to conscience, (3) Moral values related to obligations. The results of the entire data are 17 data on moral values of responsibility. responsibility, then there are 12 data aspects of moral conscience, and 16 data of moral value aspects of obligation..
