Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the form of the Zapin Imam's fourteen song at the Tasik Studio, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The theory of the concept of music analysis used is Chaplin, the theory of song form used is the theory of Prier SJ, the theory of elements of song form used is M. Suharto's theory and the theory of musical elements used is Aaron Copland's musical elements. . The research method in this research is qualitative non-interactive, while the data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation, the research results are obtained based on descriptive data. The object of this research is the song "Zapin Imam Berempat". The results of the researchers in this study indicate that Zapin Imam Beremapat has 7 motifs, 4 phrases, 4 forms of lalimat songs. 2 themes, namely the first theme is on bars 1 to 4, the second theme is on bars 11 to bar 16. The repetition unit in Zapin Imam Four is located on bars 17 to 64 which is also a repetition of themes A, and B The song Zapin Imam Berempat uses the 5b scale or Bbm = do, the tempo used is Andamte (86) which means it's a bit slow. The song Zapin Imam Beremapa uses a time singnatur of 4/4, the song Zapin Imam Berempat is sung by a man with a high voice or tenor.
