Abstract

The need for learning tools that enhance the learning process can boost student engagement and foster educators' creativity, particularly when crafting engaging, time-efficient learning materials through technology. This study aims to develop a Canva-assisted teaching module focusing on exponential for Phase E students. This development model adheres to the Research and Development (R & D) framework, which has been tailored to researchers' needs, comprising the following stages: (1) Identifying potential and challenges; (2) Collecting data; (3) Product design; (4) Design validation; (5) Design revision; (6) Product testing; (7) Final production. Data collection techniques for this research involved using a validation sheet, a teacher response questionnaire, and a learner response questionnaire, with analysis conducted through descriptive methods. The subject of this study is a teaching module assisted by Canva, specifically designed for Phase E students studying exponential. The study included 29 students from Class X.4 at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The Canva-assisted teaching module underwent validation by three validators, including two lecturers from the Mathematics Education Study Program and one Mathematics teacher from SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The validation data and practicality were assessed by determining the average of each evaluation. The analysis of the validation data by the three validators indicated an average of 83.33%, meeting the criteria for high validity. The teacher response questionnaire assessment for the teaching module achieved an average of 93.05%, demonstrating its practicality. The student response questionnaire yielded an average of 79.06%, also indicating practicality. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that the teaching module, assisted by Canva and focused on exponential, has undergone rigorous testing for both validity and practicality.
