Abstract

Arisan is a fundraising activity that is drawn by drawing lots or taking turns. Regular social gatherings and online gatherings are almost the same, the only difference being the communication that takes place. In online gathering, communication is done online. Even though it is carried out online and does not have an agreement letter that regulates between the parties, this online arisan activity cannot be separated from the existence of a binding agreement. Apart from that, it is not uncommon for defaults to occur in both online and regular social gatherings. So more concretely, the problem of this research is how to resolve defaults at online arisan @arisanbymeg and what are the obstacles to resolving defaults at online arisan @arisanbymeg. But the reality that happened to the online arisan @arisanbymeg was a default by the arisan owner which had an impact on the participants because they did not receive the arisan money. The method used is the inductive method, namely by taking facts or data related to research, analyzed and then general conclusions are drawn. The purpose of this study is to find out the settlement of defaults at online arisan @arisanbymeg and to find out the obstacles to settlement of defaults at online arisan @arisanbymeg. So to solve the default problem that occurred at online gathering @arisanbymeg is by negotiation. Settlement of defaults on online arisan @arisanbymeg is carried out by negotiation from both parties, but if the arisan owner does not carry out the results of the negotiations, the parties will continue the matter to court. The obstacle in resolving defaults on online arisan @arisanbymeg is that the arisan owner does not have a job because the arisan owner's ID card is held by the arisan participant because the arisan owner has not paid off his losses.
