Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive PowerPoint learning media based on passive voice material for 11th grade students at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the feasibility of interactive PowerPoint learning media in terms of the validation of material experts and media experts, as well as its attractiveness in terms of teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) referring to the ADDIE development model, which consists of five research stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments used are a validation sheet, a teacher response questionnaire, and student’s response questionnaire. The findings of this study are divided into two categories: the quality of feasibility and media attractiveness. The evaluation of media quality was carried out by media expert and material expert. The evaluation of user responses to the attractiveness of the media was carried out by teacher and students. The evaluation of the media expert received a percentage of 93.3%. Evaluations by material expert received a percentage of 81%. Based on both experts, it states that interactive PowerPoint media is very feasible to use. Evaluations by the subject teacher received a percentage of 90%. The assessment by students received a percentage of 89, 2%. This indicates that interactive PowerPoint media is extremely attractive. The results of this study, based on validation tests by materials expert, media expert, teacher and students, prove that interactive PowerPoint learning media for passive voice learning is very feasible to use and extremely attractive.
