Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of competency on the performance of the Kampar District Health Office employees. This research include kuantitativ research. The population in this study were all employees at the health office totaling 92 people. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling or only employees who are willing to be respondents when met. The size of the sample is determined based on the Slovin formula of 48 employees. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis and SPSS 26. The results of this study showed that competency partially and simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Kampar District Health Office employees. This proves that the more competent an employee will be able to improve his performance.
