Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of educational level and work experience on employee performance at Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Riau. The population in this study were 167 respondents. The sample collection technique uses the Random Sampling method. The sample used was 63 respondents. The research data were obtained from questionnaires, direct interviews with related parties according to the multiple linear regression test, f test and t test, as well as the coefficient of determination test (R2).Based on the results of the partial study, the level of education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, work experience also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.The results showed that the level of education and work experience had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance at Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Riau.
