Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service in September 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of interpersonal communication on the performance of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service employees. In this study, the sample was all employees, totaling 63 employees and used as respondents. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and quantitative simple linear analysis using the SPSS version 22 program. The results showed that partially the Interpersonal communication variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service. So that means, the better interpersonal communication at the Department of Environment and cleanliness of the city of Pekanbaru, the higher the results of employee performance in the agency
