Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the effect of Employee Performance Assessment on Promotion at Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Pekanbaru City Branch. The sampling technique in this study was to use a saturated sample technique. In this case the researcher took a sample of all employees by distributing questionnaires to employees totaling 98 samples. The method used is simple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) The results of the descriptive analysis concluded that overall the respondents stated that the assessment of work performance and promotion was in the very good category at Bank Kepri Syariah Pekanbaru City Branch in addition, promotions are carried out for employees who have honesty, loyalty and balanced education . (2) The test results state that the employee performance appraisal has a significant effect on promotion at the Kepri Syariah Bank Pekanbaru City Branch, (3) The test results state the coefficient of determination orR Square of 0.588, which means that the assessment of employee performance at Bank Kepri Syariah Pekanbaru City Branch is influenced by promotion by 58.8%, while the remaining 41.2% is influenced by variables outside the study.
