Abstract

In general, a new car is everyone's dream, but the problem is that not all of us, for various reasons, can afford it. Therefore, buying a used car for most Indonesians is the easiest and fastest alternative to owning a means of transportation. The public can find and buy used cars at dealers who do provide used cars. One of them is selling used cars in Pekanbaru, namely at CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru. In terms of making a choice of which used car to buy is not an easy matter, but it requires carefulness. The formulation of this problem is how to implement a used car purchase agreement at CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru and what are the obstacles that occur in the implementation of the used car sale and purchase agreement at CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru? The research method used is sociological legal research, which is a legal research method using facts in the field regarding human nature and character. To get accurate information, the author directly carried out direct observations and conducted interviews with respondents to get answers. The nature of this research is descriptive, namely providing a clear and detailed description of an incident that occurred regarding legal protection for consumers in the implementation of used car sale and purchase agreements at CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru. The results of this research are the implementation of used car sale and purchase agreements at CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru, namely: Consumers check the car they want to buy and CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru explains in detail the car specifications and information related to the car. If it suits the car and the price offered has been agreed upon by both parties, then CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru prepares a sale and purchase agreement which is then signed by both parties. The consumer provides payment according to the price agreed upon by CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru hands over goods that have been purchased by consumers. Obstacles in implementing used car sale and purchase agreements with CV. Global Motor Pekanbaru does not explain detailed information about used cars, consumers lack understanding regarding specifications and information about car parts, and consumers are attracted by low prices.
