Abstract
This study aims to find out about the learning of Dance for Class X Culinary 1 of SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The theory used by Oemar Hamalik. The approach used in this research is descriptive method and with qualitative data. Cultural arts learning consists of three stages of activities including introduction, core activities, and closing activities. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were one art and culture teacher and 32 students of class X Culinary 1 at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru in the 2022/2023 academic year. The results during research were that the curriculum used by SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru already used the Free Learning Curriculum and used Learning Outcomes (CP), Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), and Teaching Modules (MA) in accordance with those set by the school. The methods used in learning are demonstration methods and lecture methods. The material studied was about the Mak Inang Dance with a time allocation of 4 meetings x 2 hours of lessons @ 45 minutes. Learning outcomes from students are able to learn dance well in class with dance facilities and infrastructure at school, and students can learn well which can be seen from the evaluation results.
