Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF COMPENSATION, MOTIVATION, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT, ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA V PEKANBARU BY SELVHANAN KUMAR 165210038 ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether: 1) compensation, motivation, and work environment affect employee performance, 2) compensation affects employee performance, 3) motivation affects employee performance, 4) work environment affects employee performance, at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all permanent employees of the human resources section at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V (Persero) Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 34 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study used linear regression analysis techniques, classical assumption tests, F tests, t tests, and the coefficient of determination (R2) using the SPSS 23.0. The results showed that: 1) compensation, motivation, and work environment jointly affect employee performance, 2) compensation has no effect on employee performance, 3) motivation affects employee performance, 4) work environment has no effect on employee performance.
