Abstract

This study discusses efforts to overcome pornography crimes in internet media by the police in the jurisdiction of the Riau Regional Police. The choice of this title is motivated by the mechanism for resolving efforts to overcome pornographic crimes in internet media, where efforts to overcome pornographic crimes in internet media are very fair to the victims and to the perpetrators, and in practice it can be seen that a number of pornographic crimes in internet media can be resolved through penal and non-penal channels. . In this research, the author used empirical sociological research methods, which used direct observation and data collection methods on research subjects, by conducting surveys in the field and interviewing respondents, namely, Ba Unit 3 Subdit 5 Ditreskrimsus Polda Riau, victims and perpetrators of pornography in internet media. In this study the authors used empirical legal research methods/sociological legal research, which used observation and data collection methods directly on research subjects, by conducting field surveys and interviewing respondents namely, Ba unit 3 subdit 5 Ditreskrimsus Riau Police and perpetrators of pornography in the media Internet.
