Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the leadership function of the Village Head in the Implementation of Development in Koto Baru Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, and to determine the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Village Head's leadership function in the Implementation of Development in Koto Baru Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data analysis method used is quantitative data analysis method. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of the leadership function of the Village Head in the implementation of development in Koto Baru Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency was quite effective, because the functions of Instruction, Consultation, Participation, Delegation, and Control functions applied by the Village Head in the implementation of village development in general had done quite well. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the leadership function of the Village Head in the implementation of Development in Koto Baru Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, namely the lack of support for maturity or maturity in the way of thinking and behaving from subordinates or implementing activities to support the policies of the Village Head in relation to the implementation of the Village development activities.
