Abstract

ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE INCOME OF GO-JEK MOTORCYCLE DRIVERS IN PEKANBARU BY: ASYA FARADILLA ZAHRA 195110219 (Under Guidance: Nawarti Bustamam, SE. M. Si) The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of working hours, number of passengers, and work experience on the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru. The population in this study amounted to 4800 Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru and a sample of 98 drivers after using the Slovin formula. The data analysis used in this study is quantitative analysis. Data collection techniques use interviews and questionnaires. The analysis used is multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests and classical assumption tests, and is used with the Eviews program version 10. The results of the analysis are that working hours affect the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru with a regression coefficient value of 0.219, which means that if working hours increase by 1%, the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru will increase by 0.219%. The number of passengers affects the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru with a regression coefficient value of 0.803, which means that if the number of passengers increases by 1%, the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru increases by 0.803%. Work Experience does not affect the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru with a regression coefficient value of -0.016, which means that if the work experience increases by 1%, the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru decreases by 0.016%. This is because the Go-jek application system usually automatically selects drivers randomly and drivers who are closer to passengers are automatically more likely to be selected. So that work experience does not affect the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru. Simultaneously, the variables of working hours, number of passengers, and work experience have a significant effect on the income of Go-Jek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru. The value of R2 is obtained at 0.7970, which means that the influence of working hours, number of passengers, and work experience variables on the income variables of Gojek motorcycle drivers in Pekanbaru is 79.70% while the remaining 20.30% is influenced by other variables that are not in the estimation model.
