Abstract
Calculation of the gas flow rate at a natural gas company is very important. To measure the flow rate of gas, it is necessary to have a measuring device to get the flow rate, in which the measurement results are used as the buying and selling value to the seller to the buyer. Then a measuring instrument is needed that works well and has valid accuracy, because if the measuring instrument does not work properly it will result in losses to the company. To determine the accuracy of the flow rate that has been measured using a measuring instrument in the xx field, it is necessary to have a comparison of manual calculations and the results of measurements from an ultrasonic flow meter measuring instrument on a flow computer. Because every measuring instrument is not always in good condition, and of course the measuring instrument will have problems and needs calibration, this manual calculation can be one of the calculations to get the flow rate. From all the calculations that were carried out, the error deviation value from the standard flow rate (Qb) was obtained at 0.00803%, the data was calculated from July 1 2022 to July 31 2022. From these results it can be stated that all error deviation calculation calculations are still below the average, where the error deviation value in the xx field should not be more than 0.4% error deviation, and it can be said that the ultrasonic flow meter measuring instrument is still working properly and there is no need for calibration.
