Abstract
THE ROLE OF COOPERATIVE VILLAGE UNITS (KUD) COLLECTIVELY OWNED ON THE WELFARE OF COOPERATIVE MEMBERS IN THE VILLAGE OF BUKIT LINGKAR DISTRICT UPSTREAM INDRAGIRIES BY : AGUNG IRAWAN NPM : 165111056 (Under the Guidance of : Advisor Drs. H. Armis, M.Si) The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the jointly owned village unit cooperative (KUD) on the welfare of cooperative members in Bukit Lingkar Village, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The research was conducted by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. To facilitate the research, the authors used the simple random sampling method, namely random sampling. Thus, the researchers took a sample of 30 respondents to represent members of the KUD jointly owned by Bukit Lingkar Indragiri Hulu Regency in the study. The results of this study are that the Co-Owned Village Unit Cooperative has a role in improving the welfare of members in terms of income and has a positive effect on increasing the income of oil palm smallholders. Where the income of the members or smallholders is better after the existence of the Jointly Owned Village Unit Cooperative compared to before the existence of the Jointly Owned Village Unit Cooperative.
