Abstract
Currently UMKM actors must compete in the use of technology and innovation in order to gain a wider market share. One of the technological developments in supporting financial transactions is financial technology (fintech). Therefore this study aims to find out and analyze the impact of using fintech on the performance of small businesses in Marpoyan District, Pekanbaru City. The population in this study amounted to 119 UMKM owners, using the slovin formula, the sample was determined to be 54 people using the random sampling method. Data analysis using simple linear regression. The results of testing the research hypothesis explain that the use of fintech has a significant influence on improving the performance of small businesses in Marpoyan District, Pekanbaru City.
