Abstract

THE EFFECT OF WORLD OIL PRICES AND INFLATION ON INDONESIA'S ECONOMIC GROWTH BY: JENDRA GUNARJO NPM : 165111001 ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is: to determine the effect of oil prices and inflation on economic growth in Indonesia. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of annual quantitative numbers from 1999 to 2022. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods and using some classical assumption tests. To process the data using several tests, namely the Statistical Test and the Classical Assumption Test. Data is processed using the Eviews-10 application. From the results of this study it is known that: 1) World oil prices have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia; 2) Inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. From this study it was found that world oil prices and inflation affect economic growth in Indonesia. assisted Eviews-10 obtained a Prob (F-Statistic) value of 0.006098 <0.05 indicating that simultaneously the independent variables have an influence on Economic Growth in Indonesia and the R² value is 0.384728 or 38% World Oil Prices and Inflation have an effect on Economic Growth in Indonesia and the remaining 62% is explained by other variables outside of research.
